To price a floral arrangement, add up what one arrangement costs you - the stems bought by the bunch plus the stems you lose, tape, ribbon and pins, your time to process, design and deliver at an hourly wage, the cooler power, packaging and a share of your monthly costs. Then set the price so that after card fees and the drive you still keep the profit share you pick (40% of the price to start), or use cost x multipliers or check your own price.
Price every arrangement you make
The Florist Pricing Calculator workbook on Etsy uses the same math as this page and adds:
- A materials list: type each bunch, box or roll once - the price, how many stems and the unit - and the cost per stem is worked out for you.
- Roses by the stem or the dozen, and ribbon and tape by the yard, foot or inch - converted for you.
- Each arrangement built from a recipe picked from dropdown lists, with finished examples to start from: bouquets, a boutonniere, a centerpiece and a vase arrangement.
- A one-page wedding Quote Builder with a rush fee, a delivery and setup fee, a discount and a deposit, and an Order Tracker with profit by month.
- Every arrangement on one Price List: cost, wholesale, retail, fees, delivery, profit and profit per hour.

Questions
How much should I charge for a bridal bouquet?
In the example, a garden-style bridal bouquet with $91.98 of flowers and supplies (15% stem loss included) and 2 h 5 min of work at $25 an hour costs $150.52 and sells for $265.00, keeping $106.53 after a 3% card fee.
How do I price flowers by the stem?
Type the bunch price, the stems in the bunch and the stems the arrangement uses. 12 garden roses for $42 are $3.50 a stem, so 8 stems cost $28.00.
How do I price a wedding with ten centerpieces?
Type how many arrangements you make in one go (10 centerpieces = 10) and the stems, minutes and supplies for all of them. Every cost and the price come out per arrangement.
What is stem loss and should I charge for it?
Stem loss is the extra flowers you buy to cover broken stems, early blooms and short cuts. Type the share (15% = 15 extra for every 100); it is added to the flowers, not to tape, ribbon or pins.
Which fees are counted?
The example starts with a 3% card fee on what the customer pays, about what card readers charge. Open "Fees and sales tax" to change it, add a platform or booking fee, or add sales tax. Selling on Etsy? Type its US rates in the same fields: 6.5% as the platform fee, 3% + $0.25 as the card fee and $0.20 as the fixed platform fee.
Good to know
- This free calculator prices one arrangement at a time and does not save anything.
- One flower goes in by its bunch here and the rest as one dollar amount; every stem by its own bunch is in the workbook.
- Fee rates and the example numbers are starting points; type your own.
