To price a sticker, add up what one sticker costs you - the sticker paper, laminate, ink and blade for the print run with misprints carried by the good stickers, your time at an hourly wage, packaging, shipping supplies and a share of your monthly costs. Then set the price so that after Etsy fees and postage you still keep the profit share you pick (40% of the price to start), or use cost x multipliers or check your own price.

How much should I charge for a sticker?
In the example, a 3 in die-cut vinyl sticker made 54 to a print run costs $1.11, including $0.12 of paper, laminate, ink and blade, about 2 paid minutes at $20 an hour and 8% misprints. It sells for $2.50 with $1.25 shipping and keeps $1.05 after Etsy fees and a stamp.
Are Etsy fees worth it on a cheap sticker?
The calculator shows each fee. For the example sticker at $2.50 with $1.25 shipping and 7% sales tax, the transaction fee is $0.24, payment processing $0.37 and the listing fee $0.20 - $0.81 in all.
How do I price in misprints and miscuts?
Type the share you lose. A misprinted sticker took the same paper, ink, laminate and time, so the good stickers carry it: cost / (1 - misprint rate). Sorting and packing is done on the good stickers only, and backing cards and sleeves are counted for them only.
What should I charge shops wholesale for stickers?
With a target profit or your own price, the wholesale price is half the retail price, about what shops usually pay. For the example sticker, $1.25 wholesale leaves $0.14 over all your costs and your wage. To set it yourself, pick "Cost x multipliers".
Which Etsy fees are counted?
The transaction fee of 6.5% of the item price and the shipping you charge, payment processing of 3% of what the buyer pays (sales tax included) plus $0.25, and the $0.20 listing fee - Etsy US rates as of October 2026. Open "Etsy fees and sales tax" to change any rate, or set them to 0 for a cash sale at a market.
