Tumbler Pricing Calculator

To price a tumbler, add up what one tumbler costs you - the blank and supplies plus waste, your prep, coating and finishing time at an hourly wage, cup turner power, packaging and a share of your monthly costs. Then set the price so that after Etsy fees and postage you still keep the profit share you pick (30% of the price to start), or use cost x multipliers or check your own price.

The Tumbler Pricing Calculator workbook on Etsy uses the same math as this page and adds:

  • Supply costs from the pack: a case of 25 blanks, an epoxy A+B kit, glitter by the oz, mica by the g.
  • Vinyl by the square inch, with 12x12, 12x24, 8.5x11, 11x17 and 13x19 sheet sizes built in.
  • Each tumbler built from a recipe picked from dropdown lists, so the materials cost adds itself up.
  • Three finished examples to start from: glitter epoxy, vinyl decal and sublimation tumblers.
  • Every tumbler on one Price List: cost, wholesale, retail, fees, postage, profit and profit per hour.

Questions

How much should I charge for an epoxy tumbler?

Add the blank, paint, glitter and epoxy, your time at your hourly wage, cup turner power, packaging and a share of your monthly costs. In the example, a 20 oz glitter epoxy tumbler made two at a time costs $26.05 and sells for $45.25 to keep about 30% after Etsy fees and postage.

Should I charge for the time epoxy cures on the turner?

You choose. Type the cure hours and pay yourself 0% of that wait, 100% or anything between - the price shows the difference straight away.

How do I price tumblers I make two at a time?

Type how many tumblers the session makes, then the minutes and supplies for the whole session. They are shared over the tumblers; packaging and postage stay per tumbler.

How do I count epoxy that runs or a decal that tears?

Type the share you redo under "Waste and redos" (10% = one in ten) and the materials of each tumbler go up by it.

Which Etsy fees are counted?

The transaction fee of 6.5% of the item price and the shipping you charge, payment processing of 3% of what the buyer pays (sales tax included) plus $0.25, and the $0.20 listing fee - Etsy US rates as of October 2026. Open "Etsy fees and sales tax" to change any rate, or set them to 0 for a cash sale at a market.
